Introduction
Pregnancy is an amazing example of the extraordinary changes a women`s body experiences. Although every pregnancy is different, a healthy, full term pregnancy tends to follow similar patterns. In the next few pages I have greatly described the development of a fetus week by week, from conception to birth, based on a healthy, full term pregnancy.
Although it is not mentioned on my webpage, pregnant woman should seek immediate medical care upon finding out about their pregnancy. Whether you seek the care of an obstetrician, or a midwife, prenatal care is essential. Also taking prenatal vitamins and minerals is critical in making sure that your baby is getting all the nutrition he needs.
You may find that joining a support group or a prenatal class, to be very helpful, especially if the pregnancy was unplanned or you need support. There is also many community outreach programs you can turn to, to get more information or help preparing for your little one. I will list some at the bottom of the page.
I hope you find my webpage to be very informative and helpful. If you have any suggestions or comments feel free to send them to me through my comment box on the last page (Birth). Thank you for visiting and good luck on your little bundle of joy!
